Accessibility

Many Neura Pod readers live with paralysis or ALS and browse with eye tracking, switch access, voice control, screen readers, or a brain-computer interface. Neura Pod wants every page to work for them.

What Neura Pod aims for

Neura Pod works toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, the most widely used standard for accessible websites. That covers keyboard access, visible focus, readable color contrast, text alternatives for images, and pages that still work when zoomed to 200%.

Known issues

Some older pages still fall short. Some images have no text alternative, the patient table sorts with a mouse only, and embedded X posts and YouTube videos follow the accessibility of those platforms. Neura Pod is fixing these issues as each page is updated.

Report a problem

If something on the Site does not work for you, email neurapod@gmail.com with the page address and what happened, and Ryan will fix it. You can also use the contact page. Neura Pod aims to reply within 5 business days.
